On the afternoon of July 5, the Department of Industry and Trade held a conference to deploy solutions to improve and enhance the PAR Index, PCI, DDCI, Sipas... in 2024.

In 2023, regarding the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), the Department of Industry and Trade's indicators in the "Business Support Service Policy" axis have been actively implemented by the Department of Industry and Trade and are highly appreciated by the business community. Regarding the Department, Division and Sector Competitiveness Index (DDCI) in 2023, the Department of Industry and Trade increased by 2.23 points compared to 2022 and ranked 6th out of 16 Departments and sectors, down 1 place compared to 2022. The Department of Industry and Trade's Administrative Reform Index (PAR Index) in 2023 reached 86.47 points, ranked 14th out of 20 Departments, Divisions and sectors, down 1.98 points compared to 2022, down 7 places on the ranking. The satisfaction index of people and organizations with the service of state administrative agencies of Quang Ninh province (SIPAS) in 2023 reached 94.69% of the satisfaction index score, ranked 7/20 Departments, branches and sectors participating in the survey, up 6 ranks compared to 2022.

At the conference, representatives of the delegates discussed, analyzed, and proposed the causes leading to the decrease in the overall score of the indexes; proposed specific solutions to improve the decrease in scores and increase the scores for the indexes. In particular, focusing on the main issues of: Need to synchronously deploy solutions to support small and medium enterprises; proactively and actively innovate leadership, direction, and management methods to implement administrative reform tasks at the Department; strengthen the improvement of low-ranked indexes such as: Legal institutions, Informal costs, Fair competition; promote research and synchronous implementation of the contents of component indexes... From there, in order to overcome limitations and improve the Par Index, PCI, DDCI, Sipas indexes in 2024 of the Department, contributing to the overall development of the province.
