The Department of Justice works with the Inter-sectoral Working Group of the Department of Judicial Administration, Ministry of Justice

On September 24, 2025, at the headquarters of the Department of Justice of Ca Mau province, the Inter-sectoral Working Group of the Department of Judicial Administration, Ministry of Justice led by Comrade Tran Thi Le Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Judicial Administration, Ministry of Justice, had a working session with the Department of Justice and a number of relevant agencies and units such as: Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Department PC06, PA08, People's Committee of Tan An commune, People's Committee of Da Bac commune related to the situation of nationality, civil status, residence in the province and discussed some new points of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Vu Nghi Binh, Director of the Department of Justice, comrade Tran Hoang Loc, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice and leaders of relevant departments and units.

Mr. Vu Nghi Binh, Director of the Department of Justice, spoke at the meeting.

 

At the working session with the Inter-sectoral Working Group of the Department of Administrative Justice, Ministry of Justice , Comrade Tran Hoang Loc, Deputy Director of the Department reported on the implementation of Decision No. 402/QD-TTg dated March 20, 2020 of the Prime Minister regarding the issuance of nationality, civil status, residence papers and Sub-Project 2 in Ca Mau province.

At the working session, the People's Committee of Da Bac commune and the People's Committee of Tan An commune reported on the situation of people whose Vietnamese nationality has not been determined, people without identity documents, and children of Vietnamese citizens and foreigners (stateless people) residing in the commune.

At the end of the working session, comrade Tran Thi Le Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Justice, Ministry of Justice, highly appreciated the efforts of the Department of Justice in recent times in paying attention, directing, supporting the commune level and coordinating with relevant agencies to create favorable conditions for resolving issues of nationality, household registration, and residence for people returning from Cambodia without identification papers and children following their parents to Vietnam through free migration.

Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, Tran Hoang Loc, accepted the opinions of the Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Justice, Ministry of Justice; in the coming time, the Department of Justice   Pay attention, direct and continue to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to advise the Provincial People's Committee to better implement nationality, household registration and residence work in Ca Mau province. /.
