Two years ago, when he heard about Go Co building a community tourism model of thatched houses, Mr. Nhat was determined to come and experience it. The thatched houses here are very airy because the village is located close to the sea, the wind blows coolly in the afternoon, and both locals and tourists can sleep in hammocks in the windy yard. Mr. Nhat's two children were surprised at first, "although there were some inconveniences and difficulties at first, but the children quickly integrated and actively adapted to the life of the homeowner."

“Go Co Village gives a very different feeling compared to the usual tourist villages, like entering a peaceful village with no signs of tourism. The whole village has only one small, deserted road, in the distance is the sound of waves lapping against the sand and the familiar salty smell of a fishing village,” Mr. Nhat said about his first impression.

Choose Dua Rung homestay, the house closest to the sea in the village because the whole family loves the sea. Homestay here has its original meaning, which is a house that opens its doors to welcome guests from afar. Mr. Nhat said that the house does not have entertainment facilities, his family does not have much time to go out to explore but has more time to sit and chat with the locals and look around more closely.

Every day, Uncle Binh goes fishing 1-2 times, many days from 6pm to 10pm at night, if he doesn't catch many fish, he goes again at 3am. The rhythm of life in the house in a fishing village revolves around his fishing schedule.

A special memory with his family from Hanoi was the times he and Ms. Di, the homestay owner, welcomed Mr. Binh back from fishing and brought the fish to the market to sell. Participating in the daily activities of the fishing villagers made Mr. Nhat feel like he was also a member of the family.

Besides fishing hours, during the days staying at Dua Rung homestay, Nhat also loves the moments when the whole family sits together to eat with Aunt Di and Uncle Binh, listening to them tell stories about their children, the weather, fish and shrimp. Every meal has dishes of shrimp and fish that he caught that day, although there are no delicacies, it is special because it has the "taste of home". Among them, the dish that surprised Mr. Nhat the most was "sea urchin mixed with eggs, the first time he had eaten sea urchin cooked in such a rustic way and this dish goes well with rice".

Aunt Di and Uncle Binh are very friendly and simple. Living with them feels like coming home to relatives in the countryside. They are not only the hosts but also really live together, from cooking simple meals to daily activities. Aunt Di always asks about Nhat's two young children and suggests more dishes to suit their taste. The atmosphere in the house is always warm and friendly.

Currently, Go Co village has about 20 households running homestays, the village's characteristics are many things it doesn't have: no pubs, no internet, no karaoke, no waste... Go Co is truly a rare place that still retains its wildness like an "oasis" hidden in the middle of the noisy, bustling world out there. Recently, in the second part of the Haha Family program, the characters experienced making Sa Huynh salt, visiting Go Co village, growing rice, going fishing at night...

Mr. Nhat shared that the best time to travel to Go Co village is from March to July, the weather in Sa Huynh is sunny and the sea is calm, very suitable for swimming and fishing with fishermen. Go Co village does not have full facilities but is a suitable place for those who love a simple, peaceful life. However, families with small children should consider because the living conditions here are still very simple, many people may feel uncomfortable.
