“Go Co Village gives a very different feeling compared to the usual tourist villages, like entering a peaceful village with no signs of tourism. The whole village has only one small, deserted road, in the distance is the sound of waves lapping against the sand and the familiar salty smell of a fishing village,” Mr. Nhat said about his first impression.

The family chose to stay at Dua Rung homestay at Ms. Di and Mr. Binh's house, the house closest to the sea in the village because the whole family loves the sea. Homestay here has its original meaning, which is a house that is open to visitors from afar. Mr. Nhat said that the house does not have entertainment facilities, his family does not have much time to go out and explore, but has more time to sit and chat with the locals and look around more closely.

Every day, Uncle Binh goes fishing 1-2 times, many days from 6pm to 10pm at night, if he doesn't catch many fish, he goes again at 3am. The rhythm of life in the house in a fishing village revolves around his fishing schedule.

A special memory with his family from Hanoi was the times he and Ms. Di, the homestay owner, welcomed Mr. Binh back from fishing and brought the fish to the market to sell. Participating in the daily activities of the fishing villagers made Mr. Nhat feel like he was also a member of the family.

Currently, Go Co village has about 20 households running homestays, the village's characteristics are many things it doesn't have: no pubs, no internet, no karaoke, no waste... Go Co is truly a rare place that still retains its wildness like an "oasis" hidden in the middle of the noisy, bustling world out there. Mr. Nhat shared that the best time to travel to Go Co village is from March to July, the weather in Sa Huynh is sunny and the sea is calm, very suitable for swimming and fishing with fishermen. Go Co village does not have full facilities but is a suitable place for those who love a simple, peaceful life. However, families with small children should consider because the living conditions here are still very simple, many people may feel uncomfortable.
