Temporarily closed National Highway 4D due to landslides

On the night of September 29, landslides occurred on National Highway 4D at KM114+500 and Km120, causing local traffic jams. To ensure the safety of people's lives and property, the authorities announced a road closure on National Highway 4D from Coc San commune to Sa Pa ward to fix the landslides.

Traffic police and Ta Phin Commune Police set up checkpoints and traffic control 24/7 to ensure safety for vehicles.

A large amount of rock and soil collapsed at Km120, causing local congestion.

At the same time, coordinate with Lao Cai Road Joint Stock Company to urgently fix the problem to quickly clear the route. It is expected that by 3:00 p.m. on September 30, 2025, National Highway 4D will be cleared.

KM114+50 National Highway 4D foggy, accompanied by heavy rain and cold, traffic police on duty 24 hours a day to warn and guide people to move safely.

However, due to the prolonged heavy rain, fog and cold weather, the risk of landslides on National Highway 4D is still very high. Therefore, the Traffic Police Department of Lao Cai Province recommends that people and vehicles traveling through neighboring routes pay attention, move slowly, follow the instructions of the authorities, and regularly update information from the authorities to ensure absolute safety.
