"The congress resolution has absorbed and updated the profound, dedicated and suggestive directives for the development of Hue City of General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security , in his speech directing the congress," said Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong.

Responding to questions about personnel restructuring and new plans to overcome shortcomings and limitations in key areas and solutions to improve the operational efficiency of the two-level urban government, the new Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee said that according to the process, after the congress, the personnel work of the specialized agencies of the City Party Committee and the Hue City People's Committee will be restructured.

"The most urgent task that needs to be solved immediately is the quality of the staff of communes and wards after the two-level government is put into operation. We must frankly admit that the weakest link of the current apparatus is that the quality of the staff of communes and wards in many places does not meet the requirements of the job. Therefore, to ensure the effective operation of the two-level government, the urgent task is to perfect and reorganize the staff of qualified staff who are capable of handling the job," said Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong.

The Resolution of the 17th Hue City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term sets out 15 targets. Notably, the average annual GRDP growth rate is 10% or more; the service economic structure accounts for 47-49%, industry and construction 36-38%.
