Accelerating the implementation of Tan Duc Industrial Park

Approved by the Prime Minister in February 2021 for investment policy, the project is currently in the final stages of completing compensation, site clearance and infrastructure preparation for early operation. The total land area recovered for project implementation is 300 hectares, involving 222 households, individuals and organizations. Of which, 292 hectares belong to 221 households and more than 7.3 hectares are managed by the People's Committee of Tan Duc commune, Ham Tan district (old).

Tan Minh Commune People's Committee ( Lam Dong ) said that the work of inventory, legality review and approval of the compensation, support and resettlement council has been 100% completed. The approved compensation plan has reached 97.5%, with a total payment amount of up to 544 billion VND.

In addition to the 7.3 hectares of land managed by the commune, by August 2025, 191 files/282 hectares had completed handing over the site, reaching 96.5%. However, 23 files/4.5 hectares had not received money and had not handed over the site due to the issue of houses built on land that did not meet the conditions for resettlement.

Among the affected households, 26 households that had to relocate have been resettled in Tan Duc Residential Area, an area of 2 hectares. This residential area has completed infrastructure including internal road system, lighting and clean water. The Land Fund Development Center is reviewing documents to establish a resettlement plan in accordance with legal regulations.

For 14 households that are not eligible for resettlement, due to building houses on agricultural land (land of others), the Commune People's Committee has coordinated with the investor to buy an area of about 3,650 m² of land in Village 11, about 600 m from National Highway 1A and has included it in the residential land planning to have a flexible, humane, reasonable and appropriate solution.

Regarding the investment in technical infrastructure construction, up to now, the provincial authorities have licensed the following items: leveling, roads, canal systems, lighting systems... The project has been implemented with a total cost of about 400 billion VND. Binh Thuan Electricity Company is also investing in the 22KV power system.

Specifically, the medium-voltage line outside the industrial park is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025 and the line inside the industrial park will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025, ensuring power supply for secondary investors.

According to the People's Committee of Tan Minh Commune, although the site clearance rate is high, the project still has 23 records/4.5 hectares that cannot be completely resolved. Therefore, the People's Committee of the Commune has made an important recommendation to continue using the results of determining residential areas at the time of preparing the previous inventory records as the basis for determining land locations, serving to apply specific compensation prices for the remaining households. This is a solution to ensure the principles of fairness, transparency, and compliance with the law, at the same time, creating consensus among the people and speeding up the project progress...
