Hai Duong economic growth in 6 months exceeded target

In the first 6 months of this year, the estimated total product in Hai Duong reached 62,879 billion VND, an increase of 11.46% over the same period last year, exceeding the growth scenario target.

According to the Department of Finance, in the first 6 months of 2025, the estimated total product in the whole province (GDP) reached 62,879 billion VND, an increase of 11.46% over the same period last year, exceeding the province's economic growth scenario plan for 2025 (the plan for the first 6 months of the year increased by 11.4%).

Specifically, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is estimated at 6,516 billion VND, up 6.35%; the industry and construction sector is estimated at 35,372 billion VND, up 14.18%; the service sector is estimated at 15,259 billion VND, up 8.09%; product tax minus product subsidies is estimated at 5,732 billion VND, up 10.41%.

The province's economic structure has shifted positively. In the first 6 months of the year, the proportion of agriculture, forestry, fishery - industry, construction - services and product tax minus product subsidies were 9.76% - 56.53% - 25.11% - 8.61% respectively.
