Focus on preparing well for the Party Congresses of wards and communes for the 2025 - 2030 term

In Long Xuyen ward, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, led by comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, worked with the Party Committee of Long Xuyen ward and the communes of Tan Hoi, Tan Hiep, and Thanh Dong.

At the working session, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Xuyen Ward Huynh Quoc Thai and Party Secretaries of the communes: Tan Hoi, Tan Hiep, Thanh Dong reported on the general characteristics and situation of the localities; organizational structure and staff; operational situation; facilities, working equipment; digital infrastructure serving the leadership and administration of Party committees, authorities and handling of administrative procedures.

At the same time, report on the progress and results of operating the commune-level local government model from July 1, 2025 to present and the preparation work for the 1st Party Congress of wards and communes, term 2025-2030; difficulties after the merger.

Concluding the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Tran Thi Thanh Huong emphasized that after 1 month of operating the 2-level local government model, localities have actively improved the organizational apparatus, improved the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, and ensured smooth operation.

Localities synchronously and resolutely deploy tasks and solutions for socio -economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security, improving people's material and spiritual life, thereby receiving high consensus and support.

Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huong requested localities to continue promoting the achieved results, arousing the spirit of efforts and struggles of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, uniting and determined to build and develop the homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.

The Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee requested localities to focus on fully and comprehensively preparing all aspects of the Party Congresses of wards and communes for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring the congress takes place successfully. During the implementation process, localities need to promptly inform and report on advantages and difficulties so that the working group can direct and resolve them, helping localities successfully complete the set political tasks.
