The final day of the PPA Pickleball Asia Tour Vietnam Open 2025, taking place today (September 7) in Ho Chi Minh City, ended with a resounding victory for player Phuc Huynh.

He brilliantly defeated his strong opponent Ly Hoang Nam after only two quick matches, affirming his mettle and class in the international arena.
Previously, Phuc Huynh defeated Jack Wong (Hong Kong) in the quarter-finals and Trinh Linh Giang in the semi-finals. These are players highly appreciated for their experience and physical strength.

However, with his confident playing style, delicate ball handling ability and decisiveness in every move, he proved himself worthy of the throne.
In the final, Ly Hoang Nam started strongly, leading 4-0 in the first set. However, his composure and excellent ability to adjust the game helped Phuc Huynh quickly turn the situation around. The Vietnamese-American player won 11-5 in the first set, temporarily leading Ly Hoang Nam 1-0.
In the second set, with explosive attacking skills and precise handling, Phuc Huynh almost gave Ly Hoang Nam no chance to fight back. The Vietnamese-American tennis player closed the second set with an overwhelming score of 11-1, thereby winning 2-0 (11-5, 11-1) in the final match, convincingly winning the championship.
