Thai Nguyen invests over 165 trillion VND in medium-term public investment

In Resolution No. 28/NQ-HĐND, the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province approved the draft Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026-2030 with a total capital of 165,381 billion VND. Of which, the central budget capital is 94,467 billion VND (domestic capital is 91,826 billion VND, foreign capital is 2,641 billion VND) and the local budget capital is 70,914 billion VND.

In the 2020-2025 period, from public investment capital, Thai Nguyen province has implemented many synchronous and modern transport projects, increasing connectivity, attracting investment and creating new growth drivers.

From the medium-term public investment plan for the 2026-2030 period, the province plans to implement projects and works in all fields to promote socio -economic growth and strengthen national defense and security.

Specifically, the defense sector has a total expected investment capital of more than 713 billion VND; the social order and safety sector is 1,202 billion VND, of which 960 billion VND is for projects to build new commune-level police headquarters.

The education , training and vocational education sector has a total capital of 480 billion VND, including investment in the construction of 4 Thai Nguyen Ethnic Boarding High Schools No. 1, 3, 4 and 5.

The principle of allocating public investment capital is to prioritize allocating sufficient capital for transitional projects and projects that have completed investment procedures; at the same time, closely review the list of new construction projects, only selecting projects that are truly necessary, urgent, have regional connectivity and high disbursement capacity.
