Thai Nguyen has a good fruit season.

The whole Thai Nguyen province currently has nearly 18,500 hectares of fruit trees, including 1,052 hectares of custard apple, 2,162 hectares of grapefruit, 1,766 hectares of longan, 1,623 hectares of tangerine, 1,050 hectares of orange, 998 hectares of seedless persimmon, along with banana, lychee, guava... Currently, custard apple and longan are entering the harvest season with stable productivity and good fruit quality; citrus trees and seedless persimmons are in the fruit development stage, and are expected to have a good harvest.

The reason is that this year's weather is favorable, with few pests and diseases, along with the Department of Agriculture and localities synchronously applying technical solutions such as pruning, canopy creation, additional pollination, organic fertilizer application, and safe pest control.

By 2025, the province will plant 280 hectares of new key fruit trees, including 100 hectares of custard apple, 80 hectares of longan and 100 hectares of grapefruit. This result will contribute to increasing farmers' income and affirming the Thai Nguyen fruit brand in the market.
