The tournament is a good opportunity for athletes to compete and gain experience.

The tournament marked a historic step forward for Vietnamese MMA when it first organized a national tournament within the high-performance sports competition system.

With impressive and even performances in both age groups, the Thai Nguyen team excellently won first place overall, bringing home 5 gold medals (HCV), 7 silver medals (HCB) and 13 bronze medals (HCĐ).

Although Hung Yen had more gold medals (6 gold medals), they had to accept second place with fewer total medals (4 silver medals, 5 bronze medals). Third place went to MMA Bro Alliance (MBA) with 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 12 bronze medals. Ho Chi Minh City finished fourth with 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals.

On the final day of competition, the tournament featured 24 final matches divided into two age groups: the morning session was for young athletes aged 16–18 and the afternoon was the pinnacle of the competition for boxers over 18 years old.

The organizing committee awarded first, second and third prizes to the entire team.

This is a highlight affirming the high professionalism of the tournament, and at the same time reflecting the strong development potential of localities in training and developing MMA fighters.

This year's tournament brings together 160 athletes from 24 clubs in 14 provinces and cities nationwide, competing in weight categories for men from 48kg to 84kg and women from 45kg to 65kg, divided into two age groups: 16-18 and over 18 years old.

Each match is a combination of physical strength, technique and martial spirit – true to the core spirit of the rapidly growing combat sport in Vietnam.

The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Mixed Martial Arts Federation (VMMAF), under the professional supervision of the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism). This is the first time that Vietnamese MMA has an official tournament within the high-performance sports competition system.

The matches were exciting and attractive.

The event not only has professional significance but is also an important step in institutionalizing and elevating the MMA movement across the country.

Through the tournament, localities have more opportunities to affirm the quality of athlete training, while creating a professional competition environment, helping young boxers gain experience and gradually reach out to regional and continental arenas.

The successful organization of the 2025 National MMA Club Championship is an important milestone, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of the professional MMA ecosystem in Vietnam - a new playground that is increasingly attracting young people and affirming its position on the modern martial arts map.
