Ho Chi Minh City - Asia's leading festival and event destination

On September 6, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, the 30th World Travel Awards Ceremony for Asia and Oceania took place in 2023 with the participation of hundreds of continental-scale travel and tourism brands and domestic and international press agencies. Vietnam Tourism was honored to be named in 54 categories of the top awards in Asia 2023. This is the third time Vietnam has been chosen as the venue for the World Travel Awards Ceremony, of which two consecutive years were held in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the Awards Ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the awards for tourism brands in the Asia and Oceania regions. At the national level, Vietnam was honored to receive the awards “Asia’s Leading Destination 2023” and “Asia’s Leading Natural Destination 2023”. The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism was honored with the title “Asia’s Leading Tourism Management Agency 2023”. At the local level, this year Ho Chi Minh City won the awards “Asia’s Leading Business Travel Destination 2023” and “Asia’s Leading Festival and Event Destination 2023”.
