To prepare for the 2025 - 2026 season, The Cong - Viettel Club urgently recruited striker Lucao do Break (Lucas Vinicius) and announced this new player on the afternoon of June 24, just 2 days before the 2024 - 2025 National Cup semi-final match with Hanoi Police Club.

Lucao do Break was born in 1991 in Brazil, 1m84 tall, has good pressing ability thanks to his outstanding physique and strength. He also has the ability to finish with both feet and head, maintaining a stable scoring form through previous seasons playing for Hanoi and Da Nang.

Lucao's peak was last season, when he scored 14 goals for Hai Phong, contributing nearly half of the goals of the port city team. Lucao is also one of the 3 players with the most goals and shares the title of Top Scorer of V-League 2024 - 2025 with Alan Alexandre and Nguyen Tien Linh.
