Vietnamese sports move closer to 11th ticket to Paris Olympics 2024

On May 29, the International Judo Federation (IJF) announced the latest rankings in the race for tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics for athletes around the world. Accordingly, Vietnamese athlete - Hoang Thi Tinh accumulated 213 points, ranked 9th in Asia. This is enough position for the 29-year-old athlete to get a ticket to France to attend the 2024 Paris Olympics in the women's 48kg weight class.

The scoring method in the IJF's race for the 2024 Paris Olympics is very complicated and will be completed on June 23. However, with the current score, Hoang Thi Tinh is almost certain to have a ticket to the Olympics when the gap with the following positions is relatively safe.
