On July 22, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced the minimum score and the principles for converting admission scores between admission methods.
At the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City, the admission method using the 2025 high school graduation exam results ranges from 18 to 24 points. Of which, there are 6 majors with a floor score of 24 points including: Mathematics Education, Chemistry Education, Literature Education, History Education, Geography Education, and English Education.
For the admission method using the results of the Specialized Competency Assessment exam combined with high school study results, the floor score ranges from 17 to 21 points.
For training majors that use the results of the Aptitude exam for admission, including Preschool Education , Physical Education, and National Defense - Security Education, the minimum score ranges from 19 to 20 points (for admission using a combination of the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam) and 17 to 18 points (for admission using a combination of the National High School Graduation Exam).
At Long An and Gia Lai branches, for the admission method using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the floor score ranges from 20 to 23 points.
For the admission method using high school study results combined with the Specialized Competency Assessment exam, the minimum score ranges from 18 to 20 points.

Dr. Huynh Trung Phong, Director of the Center for Student Support and Startup Development, said that this year's floor scores show a reasonable differentiation between each method and each training institution, helping to ensure the quality of input admission while still creating conditions for a diverse range of candidates to have the opportunity to access higher education.
At the main campus, many majors have high floor scores, reflecting the high level of competition and candidates' interest in traditional teacher training majors such as Mathematics Pedagogy, English Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, etc.
Meanwhile, at Long An and Gia Lai branches, the stable score shows that the strategy of expanding the training scale along with ensuring input quality is seriously implemented. The synchronization of the score threshold between the two branches is also the basis for affirming the consistency in training programs, quality and output standards between the school's facilities.

University of Transport Technology announced the minimum admission score for 2025.
The University of Transport Technology has just announced the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) for regular university admission methods in 2025. This is the minimum score candidates need to achieve to register for the school.
Specifically, with the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the University of Transport Technology has a floor score of 16 or higher (30-point scale). With the method of considering academic records, the floor score is from 18.
Meanwhile, based on the results of the Competency Assessment Test organized by Hanoi National University of Education (SPT), the minimum score is from 13.25/30 or higher.
The school said that the above minimum scores apply to all majors/training programs. For Law, the minimum score is 18; in which, for a combination of only Math or Literature, the corresponding subject must score 6 points or higher; if the combination has both subjects, the total score of Math and Literature must be 12 points or higher.
The school considers from 40.18/100 points with the results of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Thinking Assessment (TSA); the floor score is 56.75/150 with the results of the Hanoi National University Capacity Assessment (HSA). This score does not apply to the Law and English Language majors. The school said that the floor score does not include bonus points, regional or subject priority points.
In 2025, the School will enroll 6,500 students, an increase of 800 compared to last year, using 6 admission methods including: 2025 high school graduation exam scores; transcripts; results of capacity assessment tests, thinking assessment; direct admission and priority admission.
In the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, the formula for calculating admission scores is as follows:
Admission score (maximum 30) = Total score of 3 subjects according to admission combination + Priority score (if any).
If the total score of 3 subjects is 22.5 or higher (when converted to a 10-point scale), the formula for calculating priority points is:
Priority points = [(30 - Total points achieved)/7.5] x priority points according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In case the total score of 3 subjects is below 22.5, candidates will receive all priority points and do not need to apply the formula; candidates graduating before 2024 will not enjoy regional or subject priority points (according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training).
Candidates with an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certificate will have their scores converted to the equivalent of their English scores. The conversion table is as follows:

If the candidate's 2025 high school graduation exam score in English is higher than the converted score, the school will use the exam score to calculate the admission score, otherwise the converted score will be used to calculate the admission score.
