More pedagogical schools announce schedule for announcing benchmark scores

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the processing of university admission applications will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on August 17, with 6 virtual filtering sessions.

For the first time, schools will upload a list of candidates expected to be admitted by all methods. The system will automatically eliminate lower wishes, keeping only the highest wish that the candidate can pass.

The schools repeat the admission process next time, adjusting the benchmark scores and the list of candidates to match the quota. By 4 p.m. on August 17, the school will decide the benchmark scores for the majors and training programs and upload the official list of admitted candidates to the system.

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education announced that it will announce the admission scores for training programs on August 18.

According to the school's admission announcement, the minimum admission score based on the 2024 high school graduation exam results ranges from 15 to 19 points. The English Pedagogy and Technology Pedagogy majors have the highest minimum score, 19.

Last year, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education had admission scores based on high school graduation exam scores ranging from 19 to 27.25 points. Of which, the International Business major had the highest standard score of 27.25 points. The lowest score was 19 points for the Printing Technology (high quality) and Wood and Interior Technology (mass) majors.
