The Hydrometeorological Agency forecasts that on June 20, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will have showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain with average rainfall of 15-30 mm, and in some places over 70 mm.

From the evening of June 20 to the night of June 22, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 50-120mm, locally over 300mm.

In addition, in the evening and night of June 20, the Northern Delta region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain with common rainfall from 10-30mm, some places over 60mm; the area

From June 23, heavy rain in the North tends to decrease. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Regarding the heat wave in the Central region, on June 20-21, the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue will be hot, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly at 55-60%.
