The 500kV power transmission line project, circuit 3, from Pho Noi, Hung Yen province to Quang Trach, Quang Binh province, has a total length of about 519 km; the total investment is about 22,356 billion VND. The project consists of 4 component projects, starting in October 2023 and January 2024.

The Prime Minister and the working delegation inspected, urged, and gave gifts to encourage the construction forces at VT22 column of the 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa transmission line project in Quynh Trang commune, Hoang Mai town.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh encouraged the construction force to erect the VT22 pole.

Delighted by the bustling construction atmosphere at the construction site, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged the working spirit of the team of officers, engineers and workers from electricity units across the country who came to support the project implementation.

The Prime Minister and leaders of Nghe An province presented gifts to officers, engineers and construction workers at the VT22 column foundation site in Quynh Trang commune, Hoang Mai town.

Highlighting the significance and importance of the 500kV power transmission line project, especially in supplying and coordinating electricity for regions during peak season, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that there must be high determination, great efforts, drastic actions, clear people, clear work, clear time, clear products; arrange capital sources, focus resources on the project; When implementing, it is necessary to mobilize the entire local political system to participate, complete site clearance work in advance and mobilize local forces and means for the project. After having the site, it is necessary to urgently deploy it in a synchronous, synchronized and rhythmic manner with the spirit of "the foundation does not wait for columns, columns do not wait for wires" and "resources originate from thinking; motivation originates from innovation; strength originates from the people", "turn nothing into something, turn difficult into easy, turn impossible into possible".

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested contractors to concentrate, mobilize human resources, equipment, and machinery, and carry out synchronous construction at all locations and stages within the project scope, completing the project before June 30, 2024.

The Prime Minister visited and encouraged the youth force to participate in supporting the project construction.

Here, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also gave gifts, encouraged, and kindly talked with local youth union members who are increasing support for the construction. Nghe An province alone has established 74 youth volunteer teams with more than 1,100 youth union members participating in the following tasks: supporting pole erection, transporting materials from the gathering location to the installation location, supporting site clearance, moving and transporting obstacles; supporting wire pulling and traffic diversion, clearing the line corridor; supplying water to construction teams; and propagating the importance of the 500kV line 3 to the people.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared that in the past, the fathers' generation did not hesitate to sacrifice hardships to fight for national liberation. Today, the youth must also learn from this fine tradition and contribute to the construction of the 500kV line 3. Not only for this project but also for many important future projects of the country and the locality.

The Prime Minister chaired a meeting with leaders of ministries, branches, localities and EVN about the project.

Working with the Electricity Group, the National Power Transmission Corporation and the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, the Prime Minister listened to reports from units and localities on specific progress and problems that need to be resolved.

Of which, the section passing through Nghe An has so far completed casting foundations at 202/202 locations, erected 89 pole locations, is erecting 77 locations and has completed casting foundations at 36 locations, but has not yet moved to erecting poles. In the province, the wire pulling has also been completed at intersections 337 - 338 in Nam Dan district. The wire pulling is underway at some pole locations in Dien Chau and Yen Thanh districts.

In his speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed: The current state of the 500kV line 3 project has shown that there is nothing we cannot do if we have determination, solidarity, and unanimity to implement it. Besides mobilizing the entire political system with unanimity, determination, and the entire people to participate, the project also inspires the workforce across the country.

Faced with the task requirements from now until the given time, the Prime Minister proposed to launch a high-speed competition, concentrating efforts on construction with focus and key points. In particular, the Prime Minister clearly stated that there must be high determination, great efforts, drastic actions, clear people, clear work, clear time, clear products, thereby making it easy to check, monitor and evaluate; arrange capital sources, concentrate resources for the project; when implementing, it is necessary to mobilize the entire local political system to participate, complete the site clearance work first and mobilize local forces and means for the project, with the spirit of "unanimity, determination, all people, comprehensiveness, overall" and efficiency.

In the coming time, the Prime Minister requested to launch a special peak emulation period, "sprint", "lightning speed" to strive to basically complete the work of erecting poles, pulling wires, and testing in June; in July, conduct inspections, carry out technical operation procedures, acceptance, environmental restoration, and inaugurate the project...

Along with the request for localities to continue to closely participate in the project, the Prime Minister especially noted the need to inspect and care for the lives of people in the areas that have to be relocated, and to ensure that their new residences are better than and equal to their old ones.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister also directly answered and directed ministries and branches to resolve and remove a number of proposals from localities.
