Teacher Duy was moved when his student cried and did not want him to leave school - Photo cut from video
As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , the story of teacher Nguyen Ngoc Duy, after 13 years of teaching in the mountains, moving back to Quang Ngai City to teach, making his former students cry like rain, reluctant to say goodbye to him, is considered a beautiful image of the teacher-student relationship.
Talking about this, many readers think that it only comes from the innocent feelings of students for their teachers and vice versa, the teacher must be a certain kind of person to create such precious films.
Adding another perspective, reader Dinh Khoa shares the beautiful things hidden in the word "teacher".
Miracles from love
What is it about teacher Nguyen Ngoc Duy that makes students who met him when they were in 1st grade still remember him until 9th grade, and when they heard that he was transferred, they burst into tears?
The answer can only be that love has created a "miracle" for teachers to overcome difficulties, open their hearts, and be tolerant of their students.
Not only teaching students about letters, knowledge and skills, teachers are also the second fathers and mothers in a big family; together overcoming difficulties and deprivation with an optimistic spirit, tirelessly running day and night to "chase" letters, always hoping to change lives.
The story about the seeds of love that teacher Duy sowed in the highlands of Son Lien (the most remote commune in Quang Ngai province) reminds me of the teachers in Nam Cha commune (Nam Nhun district, Lai Chau ).
They are all people who not only spread knowledge but also, through their love, help students change their lives.
They are young teacher Lai Thi Tinh, who came from Nam Dinh to the Thai ethnic area in 1989, and teacher Le Dinh Chuyen (from Thanh Oai, Hanoi) who was transferred to the school in 2009 and is currently the principal of Nam Cha Primary Boarding School.
Like Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duy, they began a difficult and arduous journey. And with determination and love, those teachers overcame everything to stick with their profession and receive love from their students.
Nurturing the children's future

That is the heartfelt statement of Mr. Le Dinh Chuyen - Principal of Nam Cha Primary Boarding School. And not only saying it, Mr. Chuyen has proven it through his daily work.
In February 2009, Mr. Le Dinh Chuyen (from Thanh Oai district, Hanoi) came to work at Nam Cha Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. Every year, Mr. Chuyen gets to visit home twice during the summer vacation and the Lunar New Year.
The memorable memory shared by the teacher was that at that time, communication conditions were very difficult, there was no phone signal, so every time he wanted to call his family, he had to walk for almost the whole day.
"In 2012, Nam Cha only had a motorbike road, in 2014 it had a phone signal and in 2016 it had electricity. The hospital is far away, nearly 100km from the central school, it takes about 6-7 hours to walk to the main road to catch a bus," said Mr. Chuyen.
The next difficulty is that the students here are mainly from the Cong, Dao, and Mong ethnic groups. Most of the women here do not speak the common language, so it is not easy for teachers to convince the children to go to school.
And to teach the children, teachers from the lowlands not only have to teach but also have to learn the children's languages - Mong and Dao - before being able to teach Kinh. Not to mention, when the weather changes, teachers are also the children's doctors and nurses...
In 2013, he was invited to transfer to a higher position with more promotion opportunities, but Mr. Chuyen refused for a very simple reason: "I have vowed to stick with the education career."
According to Mr. Chuyen, "only education can change the lives of children, especially in places with many difficulties like this." His parting words and gentle smile have become unforgettable images.
Good people and good deeds are not just heard! When one time going to a school in the highlands, witnessing with one’s own eyes the stories told by teachers like Mr. Duy, Ms. Tinh, Mr. Chuyen, one can fully feel the great meaning of the two words “teacher”.
Teacher's handwriting is beautiful and tolerant.
The word “teacher” has a weight that will never change. That weight is to hold on to and settle the good and humane things in life for the soul - when each person’s life is like a boat drifting in the midst of a turbulent life, always with many whirlpools and changes.
Teachers are like lighthouses - always shining and guiding each student through each moment and each stage in life.
The light of trust is given, and the eyes of students always follow with all respect.
It is not by chance that people compare teachers to ferrymen on the river. Despite the storms and rain, despite the scorching sun and dew, each ferry still passes by, bringing students to the shore, setting foot on a new step in life.
The people on the boat are like each flying bird, tirelessly pursuing their dreams and desires in each sky. Only the boatman stays behind, standing still and watching, taking the success of each student as a joy for his job, for his life as a teacher.
Maybe you have heard those thoughts, and everyone understands that.
But only when you carry the word "teacher" on your shoulder, only when you are the one involved, can you fully feel the tolerant heart of each teacher.
