On the afternoon of March 17, the Vietnam Folk Arts Association (VNDG) in Ha Tinh held a congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Attending the congress were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 15 association members and 60 artisans.

The Vietnam Folk Arts Association (VNDG) in Ha Tinh currently has 15 members. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the association has played a good role in contributing to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage and folk arts. During the term, the association has organized many professional activities to help members promote their role in creativity and dedication such as: sending members to participate in creative camps, professional training programs, collecting and researching VNDG in Da Nang city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province...

The Association has presided over many provincial-level scientific projects such as: "Research on typical human values of Truong Luu village's cultural heritage", "Research on cultural heritage values of Tien Dien - Lai Thach region to serve economic and social development". In addition, many members have been and are conducting many scientific projects on preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Ha Tinh such as: Dr. Nguyen Tung Linh, Dang Thi Thuy Hang...
Artist Vo Thi Kieu Thanh presented the topic: Promoting the role of socialization in maintaining the activities of the Vi and Giam folk song club.
The Association has chaired and coordinated with the Temple of Literature Center (Hanoi) to organize the national scientific conference "The Temple of Literature with the tradition of educating and training talents in the Tien Dien - Lai Thach region" in Hanoi; coordinated with the Nguyen Du and Truyen Kieu Fund to organize an art exchange program with the theme "Singing Kieu poetry with folk songs of three regions"; organized 5 performances of Kieu poetry singing to serve the delegation of experts researching the project "Kieu Story Cultural Space" and related events. The unit has also coordinated with the provincial Radio and Television Station to develop 15 topics on folk songs, etc.

Many members actively research and publish many valuable books on various types of folk music; participate in writing articles for national and international conferences and newspapers and magazines on culture and heritage nationwide to promote folk performing arts such as: Vi, Giam, Ca Tru, Tro Kieu...; participate in the art council at festivals on folk music at provincial, regional and national levels.
Many members continue to actively contribute to the work of preserving and promoting cultural heritage through performances for the people and teaching the younger generation... Typical examples include: People's Artists: Tran Khanh Cam, Vu Thanh Minh; Meritorious Artists such as: Nguyen Trong Tuan, Hoang Ba Ngoc, Nguyen Tien Khoi, Nguyen Thi Ha, Nguyen Thi Duyen, Dang Minh Nguyet, Duong Thi Xanh, Tran Van Dai, Tran Van Hoang; artisans Vo Kieu Thanh, Le Hoai Thanh...

During its term, the branch presented the Vietnam Folk Artist Association with recognition of the title of Folk Artist for more than 15 individuals with achievements in performing and teaching various genres: Vi, Giam, Ca Tru, Kieu, Sac Bua, Ho Cheo Can, etc.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Vietnam Dong Dang Association in Ha Tinh will continue to implement action programs on preserving and promoting folk art forms in the whole province; strive to recruit 2-3 new members and recognize 10-15 folk artisans; establish a provincial artisan club under the Dong Dang Association to fulfill the tasks of promoting and propagating the types of Dong Dang that the province owns.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Branch for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 3 members: Ms. Phan Thu Hien, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Hang and Mr. Nguyen Tung Linh. In which, Ms. Phan Thu Hien continued to be elected as the Branch President of the VNDG Vietnam Branch in Ha Tinh.
