Specifically, the Department of Culture and Sports has posted news and articles on the Electronic Information Portal reflecting activities on family work, gender equality and women's advancement, and propagating the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence with many typical articles; Conducting radio broadcasts on the grassroots information system in response to the International Day of Happiness March 20 "Joining hands to bring happiness to everyone", commemorating the 24th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day "Happy family - Prosperous nation"...

Many other departments and agencies also actively promote family work through activities such as: Organizing propaganda and education about the meaning of International Day of Happiness, about the right to live happily of each person, about love, care, sharing and responsibility to build a happy community; visiting, giving gifts, helping families with policies, families with meritorious services to the revolution, families in difficult circumstances, vulnerable groups in society, spreading the spirit of compassion and sharing; posting the Handbook on child protection on cyberspace; incorporating moral education, lifestyle, and skills to build happy families into extracurricular activities in a flexible manner, suitable for each age group; Developing models of "Schools connected with families and communities", promoting parents' participation in student education...

In addition, the Steering Committee for Family and Children's Work in Hanoi has guided communes and wards to complete the Steering Committees for the Movement of All People Uniting to Build a Cultural Life at the Grassroots Level and the Steering Committee for Family and Children's Work; Synthesized and reported the implementation results in districts, towns and cities in the City.

According to the plan, from now until the end of the year, the Steering Committee for Family and Children's Work in Hanoi will continue to direct the implementation of the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence; Directive No. 06-CT/TW dated June 24, 2021 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in family building work in the new situation; plans and programs of the City People's Committee on family work.

In addition, the Steering Committee for Family and Children's Work in Hanoi will promptly investigate and strictly handle violations of family law in the city; continue to maintain and expand the model of preventing and combating domestic violence; develop sustainable family clubs at the grassroots level; organize training courses to improve the capacity of staff working in family affairs from the city to the grassroots level; organize propaganda activities in response to the celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls (November 25) and the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention of Gender-Based Violence.
