Today, May 6, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, including Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong; Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan; Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee Ho Thi Minh met with voters before the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly in Trieu Nguyen commune (Dakrong), Ward 3 (Dong Ha city); cadres, union members, and workers in the province.

At the contact points, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation reported the content and agenda of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly to voters. Many opinions highly appreciated the expected content of the session, and expressed their belief that the National Assembly will promote its role and responsibility, consider and decide on important issues, helping the country develop.

Besides, highly appreciating the quality of activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation in recent times has promoted the responsibility of elected representatives, played a good role as a bridge between voters and the National Assembly, helping many recommendations to be effectively resolved.

Protect the rights of union members and workers

Expressing their thoughts and aspirations, voters who are cadres, union members and workers of the province requested the National Assembly to soon have solutions to protect the rights of union members and workers. In particular, there should be solutions to limit the situation of workers having their social insurance benefits "suspended" due to ineffective business operations leading to dissolution, bankruptcy or business owners deliberately fleeing.

There should be clearer regulations on the right of trade unions to proactively conduct supervision in the Trade Union Law to improve the effectiveness of trade union supervision activities, promptly detect shortcomings and disputes, and prevent strikes and work stoppages.

The proposal for the retirement age of preschool teachers is lower than the general retirement age as prescribed by the Labor Code due to the nature of the profession. The regulation on the minimum number of years of social insurance contributions is reduced to 15 years but the salary received will be very low. It is recommended that there be a policy of sharing and support for workers with low pensions.

There should be many preferential policies for female workers regarding maternity benefits from pregnancy to post-maternity, and taking care of sick children. It is recommended that when amending the Social Insurance Law this time, the National Assembly should consider and stipulate that the exchange of years of social insurance contributions exceeding the maximum pension period and the retirement age is not yet reached, allowing them to exchange for early retirement.

Propose to supplement boarding allowance regime for staff of ethnic boarding schools like teachers of ethnic boarding schools when implementing the new salary policy.

It is recommended that the National Assembly and competent authorities consider removing obstacles and studying and supplementing policies on recruiting union officials to attract experienced union officials who have grown up from the grassroots level. Consider the provisions in the Trade Union Law on reasonable and appropriate union working hours for grassroots union officials, avoiding "leveling" like other labor organizations as stipulated in the Labor Code.

Concerned with solving local problems

Voters of Ward 3, Dong Ha City proposed to properly resolve the issue of land acquisition and resettlement when constructing projects in the area such as the cable-stayed bridge project area and Fidel Park. Resolve the issue of encroachment on public land after the acquisition to implement the Fidel Park project in order to invest in drainage items and solve environmental pollution problems for households living near the area.

Pay attention to removing difficulties and obstacles in granting land use right certificates to people living and producing stably in Khe Lap quarter and upgrading the road leading to the quarter. Resolve the problem of "hanging" planning in Ward 3 to create conditions for people to settle and produce. Remove obstacles in implementing regulations on resolving policies and regimes, creating conditions to resolve the current backlog of records.

Voters in Trieu Nguyen commune, Dakrong district said that the production land south of Thach Han river of Trieu Nguyen commune has a large area, people have the need to develop livestock, production and develop new housing. Currently, some households have invested in building farms.

Here, the People's Committee of Trieu Nguyen commune has planned residential land, however the road is very far (from 6 - 10 km) and is often flooded during the rainy season. Therefore, we hope that leaders at all levels will pay attention to supporting the construction of a people's bridge connecting the land south of the river, creating conditions for people to live and produce livestock.

In addition, attention should be paid to repairing and upgrading the 588a route to create conditions for people in Trieu Nguyen and Ba Long communes to travel more conveniently and safely. Early investment and upgrading of the clean water project in Xuan Lam village and the degraded Nha Trieu stream to supplement the domestic water supply for the people.

Pay attention to investing in the embankment system to prevent riverbank erosion through the area. Support Trieu Nguyen people with some fruit tree planting models with high economic value, suitable for the local climate and soil, developing in the direction of commodities...

Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong said that the voters' recommendations were very legitimate and needed to be addressed. At the same time, they requested departments, branches and localities to accept and explain issues within their jurisdiction.

On that basis, departments, branches and localities have reported in detail the issues of concern to voters and at the same time proposed a roadmap for resolution in the soonest time. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation received recommendations under the authority of the National Assembly and the Government to study, synthesize and send to competent authorities to build appropriate policies and strict legal regulations to ensure the rights of voters.
