Love for the Fatherland is spread in the MV "Continuing the story of peace" by Tung Duong

This is the second music product marking the collaboration between him and musician Nguyen Van Chung after the MV “Vietnam - Proudly Continuing the Future” which was released in mid-August. Immediately after its release, this MV quickly reached 2 million views on YouTube after only 5 days and millions of listens on other platforms. Therefore, with the MV “Continuing the Peace Story”, the production team hopes to spread the message of national pride and love for the Fatherland even more strongly.

The song “Continuing the story of peace” was composed by musician Nguyen Van Chung two years ago and was first performed by singer Duyen Quynh. Later, when this song was performed in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country by Dong Hung - Vo Ha Tram, it immediately created a “fever”, reaching billions of views. After that, this song continued to be performed by many singers in many programs and events.

At the national concert “Fatherland in the Heart” that recently took place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, singer Tung Duong performed this song again in front of 50,000 spectators at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi , continuing to bring an “explosion” of emotions to the audience.

Present at the MV launch, musician Nguyen Van Chung shared that the song “Continuing the story of peace” has matured over the years through the voices of each artist. Up to now, when the song is performed by singer Tung Duong, musician Nguyen Van Chung affirmed: "Tung Duong is currently creating the most beautiful and perfect version of the song".

Sharing about the decision to make the MV, Tung Duong said: “I made this MV out of my passionate love for my homeland. A special song like “Continuing the story of peace” needs a well-made MV to connect images and stories from war to peace, moving and reaching young people.”

In the MV, Tung Duong transforms into a revolutionary soldier, directly feeling the fierceness of war and the sacredness of the moment of peace returning. In addition, the characters in the MV clearly depict the stories of soldiers who sacrificed for national independence; the memories of veterans remembering their comrades and the continuation of the younger generation in building and developing the country.

The MV opens with the familiar theme song “This is the Voice of Vietnam…” and is interwoven with cinematic footage and documentary images. To create the best visual effect, the production crew also set up a studio to film scenes recalling the historical period of the resistance war against the French. The story of a veteran who does not forget the memories of loss but still passes on to the next generation the aspiration to build the country is the consistent message.

Taking on the role of music arranger in the MV, musician Nguyen Huu Vuong said that when he heard “Continue writing the story of peace”, the first person he thought of was Tung Duong because the song to him was like two pieces of a puzzle. “This arrangement is for singer Tung Duong because only the male singer’s powerful voice can fully express such generosity and energy.”

The MV features actress Lan Thy, who played in the movie “Em va Trinh”. She plays the role of a young girl, symbolizing the transition between generations, continuing the indomitable spirit of her ancestors.
