Ha Tinh City focuses on resolving citizens' petitions related to land

On the morning of February 20, Secretary of the City Party Committee Duong Tat Thang, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Trong Hieu and Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Van Quy chaired the regular citizen reception session in February 2024 of Ha Tinh City.

According to the report, the total number of cases through the citizen reception sessions that are still pending and newly received at the citizen reception session in January 2024 is 10 cases, of which 4 cases are currently being resolved.

The main contents of the petition are related to site clearance for the Huu Phu dike project; resolving the lack of land on the ground compared to the issued land use right certificates; implementing the directive documents of superiors in the issuance and exchange of land use right certificates for citizens of Tan Giang Ward People's Committee; related to compensation for social housing projects in Thach Linh Ward and issuance and exchange of land use right certificates for agricultural land plots.

Local leaders and specialized departments explained the causes and difficulties in handling citizens' complaints and proposed solutions for the coming time.

Ha Tinh City received the petition of Ms. Tran Thi Thi on resolving the regime related to compensation for agricultural land.

At the citizen reception session this morning, the City Citizen Reception Committee received the petition of Ms. Tran Thi Thi (Nguyen Du ward) regarding the settlement of the regime related to compensation for agricultural land.

Local leaders and relevant departments and offices explained and discussed frankly the contents proposed by citizens and guided citizens to provide information and documents in accordance with the provisions of law.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Duong Tat Thang concluded the citizen reception.

Concluding the citizen reception session, Secretary of the City Party Committee Duong Tat Thang requested wards, communes, departments and professional offices to continue to uphold their responsibility in receiving citizens, resolving citizens' feedback and recommendations; fully receiving information and content provided by citizens to classify and handle them in a timely and correct manner; carefully studying new documents and regulations related to the Land Law to update the case files.

The City Party Secretary also directed specific plans to resolve each case under processing, ensuring objectivity and compliance with legal regulations.
