Implementing the province's direction in removing difficulties to speed up construction progress and disbursement of public investment capital for projects and works, Uong Bi City is focusing on mobilizing the entire political system to complete the site clearance work for the remaining area of the Yen Tu road project extending from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10 and the 10-lane road.

The Yen Tu road project extending from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10 and the 10-lane road is still stuck with land clearance at 7 households in the middle of the route.
The Yen Tu route project, extending from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10 and creating a 10-lane road, is still stuck in the middle of the route.

This is one of the key infrastructure projects, creating a new gateway in traffic connection for the Yen Tu historical relic and scenic spot in particular, and Uong Bi city in general. The Yen Tu road project extends from National Highway 18A to National Highway 10 and the 10-lane road has a total length of more than 2km, passing through Phuong Dong and Phuong Nam wards. The project has a total of 151 households that must be cleared. Currently, 100% of the compensation plan has been approved. During the implementation of the clearance work, along with the work of counting architectural objects and reviewing the origin of the land, Uong Bi city has organized many meetings and propaganda about policy mechanisms and unit prices according to regulations. Currently, 144 households have agreed to sign the plan and receive compensation, handing over the construction site to organize the construction reaching over 95%.

Officials of the Uong Bi City Land Fund Development Center mobilized households who received money to urgently dismantle the construction and hand over the site to the construction unit.

Mr. Le Cong Pho's family, Hiep An 2 area, Phuong Nam ward, is one of the households with the largest total land acquisition area of the project with nearly 1,400 square meters of construction land, perennial land and architectural works on the land. Understanding the significance of the project for the socio -economic development of the locality and the people in the area, his family has created conditions for the unit to organize the construction of a number of auxiliary items when completing the inventory work. Currently, after the compensation plan is completed, the family has agreed to receive the money and has dismantled and handed over each part of the area to the unit to organize the construction.

Mr. Le Cong Pho said: Since 2021, my family has been building a 2-storey house, but when the project was announced, my family stopped construction on the 2nd floor and did not build or plant any more trees on the family's land. After the construction unit requested, my family also agreed to let the unit build the low-voltage power station before receiving compensation. And when the local government and functional units came to propagate and analyze the significance of the project, the family also agreed with the plan. Currently, the newly built house in the resettlement area is being urgently completed, we will gradually dismantle the equipment here to hand over the site so that the project can be completed soon.

According to the report of the Uong Bi City Land Fund Development Center, there are currently 7 households on the route that have not agreed to sign the compensation plan and receive compensation. These households are all concentrated in Phuong Nam ward and located in the middle of the project route, greatly affecting the organization of construction at locations where the land is available.

Mr. Duong Duc Lan, Vice Chairman of Phuong Nam Ward People's Committee, said: For the remaining households that have not agreed, the city's viewpoint as well as that of the Ward People's Committee is to mobilize the entire political system to establish working groups, persistently organize propaganda and mobilize each household about the policies and regulations of the law in building compensation prices for land and constructions on land. In order to create consensus among the people in the land acquisition work. At the same time, mobilize contractors and organizations to support families in relocating architectural works on land as soon as the households sign the plan.
