TPO - It is expected that today (July 4), the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam results of nearly 103,000 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam.

According to schedule, this morning, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a meeting to consider benchmark scores for high schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

The benchmark scores of all public high schools will also be announced simultaneously right after the exam scores are released.

After the scores are announced, candidates who are still concerned about the exam results can submit a request for review to the educational institution by July 10. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training will mark and return the results no later than July 28.

From July 7-9, schools will return application documents and admission exam results for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year to students.

From July 10 to 12, high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education centers, and vocational education facilities will organize admission confirmation.

In this year’s Hanoi 10th grade entrance exam, there were nearly 103,000 candidates taking the exam. Hanoi only has 64% of the target for students entering public high schools, the rest of the students study at private schools, vocational schools, vocational training centers, etc.

This year, candidates will take 3 exams: Math, Literature, and Foreign Language. The admission score is the total score of 3 subjects, not multiplied by a factor of 2.

This year's Hanoi 10th grade entrance exam was assessed by teachers as being within students' ability, with no tricky math subject, so many students could easily get a score of 7-8.

The Literature subject's innovative way of giving questions with materials completely outside of the textbook is also considered good, highly educational, and arouses students' emotions.

Literature teachers predict that Literature scores will increase slightly compared to last year.
