On the afternoon of December 19, the Party Central Committee Secretariat held a national conference to review the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. The conference was held in person and online at connecting points in provinces and cities across the country.

Speaking at the conference, General Secretary To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness of Party committees and inspection committees at all levels in performing tasks in 2024. Noting a number of shortcomings and limitations, the General Secretary suggested that in the coming time, Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels continue to synchronously deploy solutions to inspect, supervise, prevent corruption and negativity, and strictly handle violations with the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions", strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The General Secretary requested to urgently arrange and streamline the apparatus of Party and State agencies, ensuring synchronization and unity in the direction of streamlining, strength, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency.

Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels continue to strongly innovate inspection and supervision methods, promote the application of digital transformation and information technology, contributing to improving the effectiveness and quality of the Party's inspection and supervision work. On the other hand, it is necessary to proactively develop and deploy the inspection and supervision work program for 2025 to ensure comprehensive and effective implementation of tasks as prescribed.

With a proactive, positive, decisive and determined spirit, General Secretary To Lam believes that Party committees and inspection committees at all levels will continue to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks in 2025.

Speaking at the conference, the Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee highly agreed with the contents of the report on the results of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work in 2024; the directions and tasks for 2025 of the Central Inspection Committee presented at the conference. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that in 2024, the entire Party inspection sector of Hai Duong carried out its tasks with high determination and great efforts. The results of the task implementation have made many important contributions to the work of Party building and rectification, the fight against corruption, waste and negativity, contributing to strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people.

The Provincial Party Secretary said that the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the inspection and supervision work in the entire Provincial Party Committee in a comprehensive manner, from the province to the grassroots level, with the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".

In 2024, Party committees at all levels inspected 1,350 Party organizations and 1,730 Party members, supervised 703 Party organizations and 1,317 Party members; disciplined 7 Party organizations and 527 Party members, including 52 comrades who were Party Committee members (of which 442 were reprimanded, 66 were warned, 12 were dismissed, and 7 were expelled). Inspection Committees at all levels inspected 1,898 Party organizations; supervised 605 Party organizations and 596 Party members on special occasions; inspected 33 Party organizations and 97 Party members when there were signs of violations. Disciplined 5 Party organizations and 103 Party members, including 28 comrades who were Party Committee members (of which 44 were reprimanded, 34 were warned, and 25 were expelled). Verification of assets and income of 316 Party members was conducted.

The Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has resolutely directed the completion of the entire inspection and supervision program in 2024, with the inspection and supervision content focusing on key, key, sensitive, complicated areas that are prone to violations. Of which, Hai Duong has completed 6/6 inspections and supervisions by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; 3 inspections and supervisions by the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity; 1 inspection of the Provincial Military Party Committee and 2 key officials of the Provincial Military Command.

In 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission alone carried out 12/12 inspections and supervisions according to the program and 11 inspections and supervisions arising from the program. The Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee disciplined 2 party organizations, considered disciplining 2 comrades who are members of the Provincial Party Committee and 1 comrade who was a former member of the Provincial Party Committee. The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission disciplined 5 party organizations and 8 party members; verified the assets and income of 44 cadres at 29 agencies and units.

The Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee assessed that the effective implementation of inspection, supervision and Party discipline work at the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has made an important contribution to Party building, removing many difficulties, shortcomings, and risks of loss and waste of money and assets of the State, enterprises and people; and positively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary said that in the coming time, Hai Duong will focus on performing well the groups of tasks serving the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party according to Instruction No. 08-HD/UBKTTW dated November 18, 2024 of the Central Inspection Commission. Do a good job of grasping the situation, resolving complaints and denunciations, promptly detecting and strictly handling violating Party organizations and Party members to prepare well for the personnel of the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Hai Duong immediately implemented the arrangement of a streamlined, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus in conjunction with restructuring and building a team of cadres according to the conclusion of the Politburo on the implementation of the summary of Resolution No. 18, focusing on improving the quality of inspection staff at all levels with sufficient qualities, capacity and equal to the task.

Hai Duong will closely coordinate the Party's inspection and supervision work with the inspection, investigation, prosecution and trial work. Effectively carry out the task of verifying the assets and income of officials; continue to promote propaganda on the results of inspection and supervision work to warn, prevent violations and ensure the purpose of education, setting an example for officials and party members.

The Provincial Party Secretary respectfully requested the Central Inspection Commission to continue to strengthen training, fostering, and professional guidance for localities; especially the inspection and supervision work serving party congresses at all levels and controlling power in the performance of public duties.

Regarding the directions and tasks for 2025, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Van Ron said that he will promptly review, amend, supplement, and perfect the regulations, rules, guidelines, and procedures on inspection, supervision, and discipline work of the Party, ensuring consistency, strictness, and conformity with the new party organization model after the arrangement, meeting the requirements of the assigned tasks.

In 2025, inspection committees at all levels will focus on personnel appraisal, thoroughly and properly resolving complaints and denunciations, first of all, those against party organizations and party members directly related to congress personnel; resolutely handling those who take advantage of the opportunity to reorganize and streamline the organization, apparatus, and congress organization to make false accusations, causing internal disunity and affecting congress personnel. Seriously, promptly, and effectively implement the directions of the Politburo, the Secretariat, Party committees at all levels, the Central Steering Committee and provincial levels on preventing corruption, waste, and negativity...

According to information at the national conference, in 2024, Party committees at all levels inspected 55,075 Party organizations and 308,028 Party members, concluding that 1,709 Party organizations and 6,058 Party members had shortcomings and violations; 35 Party organizations and 189 Party members had to be disciplined; 7 Party organizations and 136 Party members were disciplined. Party committees at all levels inspected 344 Party organizations and 2,379 Party members when there were signs of violations, including 785 Party committee members (accounting for 33%)...
