The guidance for passengers with level 2 electronic identification accounts must be clear and follow the correct procedures, helping passengers to easily access and improve their experience, and the implementation time will start from July 22, 2025.
This is one of the contents of the implementation of Directive 07/CT-TTg, dated March 14, 2025 of the Prime Minister on promoting the implementation of the Project on developing applications of data on population, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 and the following years. Up to now, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order has developed 43 utilities on the VNeID application, encouraging citizens to proactively contact the local police to receive level 2 electronic identification records to enjoy the utilities on VneID, especially performing public service procedures on residence, identification, criminal records, first-time vehicle registration, confirmation of administrative procedures... increasingly convenient and fast.
