Lotus singing silk is the fourth collection by designer Trung Dinh, part of the project Singing Silk on the Shoulder that he has cherished for a long time.

The three previous collections include: Dream of Heaven, Silk (not yet published) and the Vietnam Mountains collection (this collection is quite special, not limited in time or quantity, and new designs are added every year).

Lotus silk has 16 designs, inspired by Dong Thap lotus - considered the lotus capital of the Mekong Delta.

The characteristic of lotus flowers here is large, single petals, pinkish white flowers.

This is also the color that designer Trung Dinh chose as the main color.

The special feature of this collection is the use of completely hand-painted and dyed materials combined with transparent silk.

Previously, Trung Dinh had combined silk and rattan, but this combination was difficult because the two materials have different elasticity. But this time he decided to combine them, creating something new.

Designer Trung Dinh shared: "The technique of painting on silk is not easy because the material is thin and transparent, so it requires the artist to paint so that the finished product is still soft and not stiff."

Realistic painting on silk and the application of ombre dyeing techniques (a technique of dyeing and manually changing colors to create new materials) continue to affirm Trung Dinh's strengths.

In the collection “Silk singing lotus” shows the clarity, purity, describing the transparency of the collection. When on stage the light shines on it, it automatically turns on and is very transparent.

Up to now, Trung Dinh as well as many other designers have had ao dai designs about lotus.

This time, Trung Dinh chose the lotus flower as the image throughout the collection. This not only did not create pressure but also created more creative motivation for him and his team.

Participating in the performance of the Lotus Silk collection are Miss Ngoc Chau, Xuan Hanh, Kim Ngan, Miss Diem Trinh, runner-up Le Hang, Mau Thuy, Kim Duyen, Thuy Tien, Huong Ly, Hoang Nhung... and models Cao Thien Trang, Vu Thuy Quynh, Ngo Bao Ngoc, Thuy Duong.

When asked about performance positions, Trung Dinh said he believes that each person will be a piece of the puzzle, equally important and shining on the stage, with no one being main or supporting.
