On the afternoon of July 3, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the conditional admission scores for early admission methods, in which the capacity assessment score increased slightly.

Method 1.2: Priority is given to direct admission of the best candidates from high schools in 2024 (according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University).

Method 2: Priority admission according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Method 4: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024.

Method 5.1: Priority is given to students who are members of provincial/municipal teams participating in national excellent student competitions or who won first, second, or third prizes in provincial/municipal excellent student competitions.

Method 5.3: Admission based on high school academic results for candidates with excellent achievements, especially outstanding in social, cultural and sports activities.

Multimedia communication industry has the highest benchmark scores in early admission methods 1.2, 2, 4, 5.1, 5.3, with results in order of methods being 28.9; 28.85; 963; 29; 28.85 points.

Competency assessment benchmark: 635 - 963

Admission scores based on the competency assessment test scores range from 635 to 963 points. Besides multimedia communications (963 points), there are 11 majors with benchmark scores of 800 points or more.

Three new majors that the school will open in 2024 have an admission score of over 700 points: art 765 points, Korean business 785 points, international studies 745 points.

The priority admission score according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University ranges from 24 to 28.85 points.

Even if you meet the admission requirements, you must still continue to register for admission on the Ministry's system.

Candidates who meet the admission requirements must continue to register for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30.

If the candidate decides to enroll in the school, he/she needs to put the major that he/she wants to study that he/she is eligible for admission in the first order (first choice). In case he/she has not decided to enroll, the candidate can continue to register, arrange the order of his/her choices in order of priority to participate in the general selection round.

Candidates applying for admission based on the results of the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam, the school will conduct a post-check of the priority area and priority subjects. In case of needing to adjust the priority area and priority subjects, candidates must make a request for adjustment (with supporting evidence) and send it directly to the school or email tuyensinhdh.hcmussh.edu.vn before 5:00 p.m. on July 9.
