Vietnamese university honored for outstanding achievements in AI innovation

GD&TĐ - At the 13th annual Coursera Conference in the US, FPT University was honored for its outstanding achievements in innovation in AI applications.

According to Coursera, this award category is for outstanding units in exploiting artificial intelligence (AI) tools to build innovative, personalized and highly effective learning programs.

Award categories are judged based on five key criteria: vision, impact, engagement, scalability and inspiration.

Mr. Greg Hart - President and CEO of Coursera - commented: "Vietnam is one of the most dynamic markets in Asia - Pacific , playing an important role in Coursera's mission. We hope that the regional pricing policies and trial learning experience will help Vietnamese learners have easier access to the global learning resource".

Over the years,FPT University has deployed Coursera in digital transformation of education and training and brought significant impacts on self-study capacity and learning according to global training programs for students and lecturers in various fields.

Currently, AI has been integrated into about 140 subjects at this school, accounting for 30% of the total number of subjects in the undergraduate training program. Each semester, about 35% of students have access to and practice with AI right in the main courses. School staff and lecturers are also encouraged to use AI tools to optimize work, save time and increase productivity.
