On the afternoon of August 17, the Admissions Council of the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the admission scores for the 2024 comprehensive admission method.

The benchmark scores for each specific industry are as follows:

According to the comprehensive admission method, the academic component scores include: the results of the competency assessment test of Ho Chi Minh City National University or Hanoi National University (70%); the results of the high school graduation exam (20%) and the academic score at high school (10%). Other criteria in the comprehensive admission method include: personal achievements (5%), social activities, literature, sports and fine arts (5%).

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the admission scores, successful candidates must confirm their admission online on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27. At the same time, candidates must go directly to the universities to complete the admission procedures according to the time frames prescribed by each school. From August 28, universities with remaining admission quotas will announce additional admission rounds.
