NDO - On October 31, the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of Tuyen Quang province organized a workshop on strengthening digital infrastructure and innovation, applying digital to develop the digital economy in Tuyen Quang province.
The workshop was held to evaluate the achieved results and find out the causes of difficulties and limitations in the current digital transformation process of Tuyen Quang province and the difficulties and obstacles in the digital transformation process in enterprises. At the same time, propose solutions to implement digital transformation for each infrastructure, economic and digital society sector.
In Tuyen Quang province, digital transformation is always a top priority. In 2022, Tuyen Quang province's digital transformation ranked 48/63 provinces and cities, up 10 places compared to 2021 (of which, digital government ranked 47/63, digital economy ranked 54/63 and digital society ranked 19/63).
At the workshop, delegates focused on analyzing and sharing good practices and creative models in the process of strengthening digital infrastructure and innovating digital applications to promote digital economic development in the province. Evaluated the achieved results and found out the causes of difficulties and limitations in the current digital transformation process of the province and the difficulties and obstacles in the digital transformation process in enterprises. At the same time, delegates proposed solutions to implement digital transformation for each area of infrastructure, economy, digital society, etc.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, affirmed: Based on the experience of developing digital infrastructure and applying digital in developing the digital economy that localities have deployed, to overcome the shortcomings and obstacles while striving to achieve the goals set out in the digital infrastructure and digital economy strategy to 2025 and orientation to 2030, Tuyen Quang province will focus on early promulgating the plan to implement the Digital Infrastructure Strategy to 2025 and orientation to 2030 in Tuyen Quang province, as a basis for implementing tasks and solutions to strengthen the development of the province's digital infrastructure (including broadband telecommunications infrastructure, data center infrastructure and cloud computing, digital technology infrastructure, digital platforms of infrastructure nature) broadband, ultra-wide, universal, green, safe, sustainable, open, meeting the socio-economic development requirements of the province.
In addition, Tuyen Quang province continues to improve digital infrastructure to serve digital transformation, meeting practical requirements; promote communication, improve digital skills, innovate digital applications to develop the digital economy of the province in general and localities in particular.

Hoping to continue receiving attention, support and companionship from the Ministry of Information and Communications, businesses inside and outside the province to provide digital platforms, digital applications, digital solutions so that the province can make a breakthrough in digital transformation as well as achieve the goals set out in Resolution No. 48-NQ/TU dated November 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee (term XVII) on digital transformation of Tuyen Quang province by 2025, with a vision to 2030 and effectively implement the goals set by the Government in the Strategy on digital infrastructure, digital economic development by 2025 and a vision to 2030.
Recognizing the role and importance of digital transformation in socio-economic development and the opportunity for Tuyen Quang province to make a breakthrough, Resolution No. 48-NQ/TU dated November 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, on digital transformation in Tuyen Quang province by 2025, with a vision to 2030, has set a target that by 2025, the digital economy will account for about 20% and by 2030, the digital economy will account for about 30% of the province's gross domestic product (GRDP); gradually improve Tuyen Quang's ranking on the annual Digital Transformation Index (DTI) Ranking; strive to make Tuyen Quang one of the fairly ranked provinces by 2025, and by 2030, be among the leading provinces in the northern mountainous region.
