According to the plan, the Ninh Thuan-Binh Thuan Open Kiteboarding Tournament 2023 will take place from December 22-24, 2023, at the beach in My Hoa village, Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district; competing in two events for men and women (Twintip Race and Big Air Twintip Freesty - Old School Trick), with the format of ranking points. Up to now, more than 50 domestic and foreign athletes have registered to participate; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has worked with PKO Company Limited to agree on the preparation of the field, facilities, funding, mobilizing athletes to participate and related conditions to serve the organization of the competition as well as the opening and closing programs...; deploying the Tournament Charter to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province and PKO Company Limited to inform the Kiteboarding clubs, associations and groups inside and outside the province.
Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Organizing Committee to continue to mobilize and compile a list of athletes registered to participate in the competition; check the location and facilities to prepare for the organization of the tournament, especially the work of ensuring safety for participating athletes; strengthen the visual decoration work on the routes and areas where the tournament is held, the promotion and propaganda work through mass media and visual means of propaganda; focus on mobilizing units for the tournament, in which focusing on funding sources for the prizes.
