Applying digital technology to explore the heritage of Thai Hoa Palace

(CLO) The Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just deployed a smart interactive station to bring visitors unique experiences when visiting Thai Hoa Palace.

Smart interactive station technology has been piloted at Hai Van Quan after the place reopened to visitors. After just over 2 months of installation, these stations have attracted more than 5,000 interactions with hundreds of check-in photos and excited shares from visitors.

This technology continued to be deployed at the Hue Imperial City in mid-November, becoming an additional highlight for the event when Thai Hoa Palace officially opened to visitors after 3 years of restoration.

Accordingly, smart interactive stations are physical boards equipped with near-field communication (NFC) chips that tourists can touch their phones to learn about the cultural and historical stories of each destination with a variety of rich forms of expression including images, videos , and models.

Each smart interactive station acts as a "digital tour guide" that can provide many necessary utilities and support for visitors when visiting relics and heritage sites.

These stations link together to form a comprehensive cultural and heritage experience map that is highly customizable and has unlimited growth potential.

At each location, visitors are provided with a travel itinerary and guided to the next attraction. Taking check-in photos and posting their own photos on the "golden board" of each location is also a popular function.
