After using, some students showed signs of suspected poisoning such as stomachache, fatigue... Some students with severe symptoms were taken to the hospital for health monitoring.
Information from the Thanh Oai District Department of Education and Training said that this morning (October 1), the student's health condition has stabilized. The functional units of Thanh Oai District are urgently clarifying the incident.
The Thanh Oai District Department of Education and Training has informed schools in the area to increase coordination with parents, educating children not to eat snacks outside the school gate and absolutely not to accept food or drinks from strangers.
Regarding the above incident, also on the morning of October 1, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that the Department had grasped the incident and requested the Thanh Oai District Department of Education and Training to inspect, verify, and report specifically.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has sent warning information to district, town and city education and training departments about the phenomenon of students suffering from stomach aches after drinking free drinking water near school gates.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested units to strengthen the dissemination of information to schools to students not to use products distributed or donated of unknown origin; closely coordinate with authorities to manage areas around school gates and in the locality; strengthen management and direction to ensure food hygiene and safety in schools.
