Container collision, truck overturned in field on Ha Tinh city bypass

After a strong collision with a container truck on Highway 1, avoiding Ha Tinh City, the truck carrying stone powder plunged into a field and overturned. The accident caused traffic congestion.

At 4:40 p.m. on May 17, a truck with license plate 77C-194.03 carrying stone powder, traveling on National Highway 1 in the North-South direction, when reaching km2+00 of National Highway 1, Ha Tinh City bypass, passing through TDP 15, Thach Ha town, collided with a container truck with license plate 57M-0207 pulling a trailer 51R-109.67 traveling in the opposite direction.

The strong collision caused the truck to plunge into the field and flip over. Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties, but the front of both vehicles was severely damaged.

The traffic accident caused serious traffic congestion. Traffic police were forced to divert vehicles at both ends of the accident area to other routes to assist with rescue operations and ensure traffic flow.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities.

Vehicles were directed to move onto 19/8 Street in Thach Ha town to reduce congestion after the traffic accident.
