Come back to Uncle Ho on the national festival day

In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), many people of Dak Lak and tourists from everywhere came to Uncle Ho's Temple (Van Hoa commune) to offer incense and commemorate. This is not only an act of gratitude for the great contributions of the beloved Father, but also a journey back to the source, connecting the past with the present and the future.

In recent days, at Uncle Ho's Temple, the atmosphere has become more bustling and sacred than usual. Many groups of visitors from all over have come here to commemorate his great contributions. Red flags with yellow stars flutter in the wind, mixed with the brilliant colors of flowers offered to Uncle by locals and tourists. Everyone lined up in order, respectfully lit incense, offered flowers, and quietly prayed in a solemn atmosphere.

In that crowd, there were heads with white hair, young people full of aspirations, and even children brought by their parents for the first time… All gathered in this sacred space, with the same sincere heart.

Mr. Le Thanh Nhan in Tuy Hoa ward, emotionally said: "I went through the difficult days of war, and I understand more deeply the great contributions of Uncle Ho. Celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, being able to visit Uncle Ho with my children and grandchildren, my heart is filled with pride and gratitude." In the corner of his eyes, tears welled up, making many people around him silent.

Not only local people, but also many delegations from far away provinces choose this important occasion to visit Uncle Ho. On their journey back to their roots, they find here a calmness and an indescribable emotion.

Ms. Ho Thi Lam, a tourist in Ho Chi Minh City, shared: “My family has been to the capital many times, to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. But when coming to Uncle Ho's Temple here, the feeling is very different. The fresh air and familiar landscape make me feel like Uncle Ho is in the middle of everyday life.”

In the green, shady campus, many young people took the opportunity to take souvenir photos. They stood next to ancient trees, next to the stele marking historical events, smiling brightly, as if to affirm their pride in living in peace after 80 years of national independence.

The space of Uncle Ho's Temple these days is even more solemn and warm with flags and flowers decorated all over the aisles. Uncle Ho's Temple is not only a place of remembrance but also a meeting place for descendants from all over to come back and understand more about the value of independence and freedom that generations of fathers and brothers sacrificed to win.

In careful preparation for the important anniversary, the local authorities and the relic management force have closely coordinated to welcome visitors. The roads leading to Uncle Ho's Temple have been cleaned and decorated, with red flags planted along the road. According to the Director of Son Hoa Culture - Sports and Radio - Television Center, Tran Van Toan, the unit determined that Uncle Ho's Temple is a red address in traditional education. During the peak days of the anniversary, all work was carefully prepared so that every citizen when visiting Uncle Ho felt solemn and proud.

"On September 1-2, there were nearly 6,000 visitors to Uncle Ho's Church," said Mr. Tran Van Toan.

During the national festival, people come to burn incense, remember and express the undying love of all generations of Vietnamese people for Uncle Ho. Uncle Ho's Temple is not only a cultural and historical work but also a place where the past meets the present and the future, connecting all generations to look towards a prosperous and happy future.
