And the program to rebuild schools after Typhoon Yagi was born from that practical concern.

On our way of working, the children we met were all living in difficult circumstances - sometimes harsh, all had just experienced a disaster - sometimes catastrophic - like the flood that just swept through Nu Village, but the vitality of childhood was incomparable.

Very soon, the sparkle will return to your eyes, to your smiling lips. Very soon, your steps will be joyful again, your hearts will be open again...

We have witnessed it so many times, and so, the school must quickly become warm to welcome that carefree step, the school bags must quickly be full enough to wait for that hand, the lessons must quickly be opened, written, and taught to meet that soul.

We cannot let it be broken. We cannot let the flood that has caused loss of life and ruined the future - even if it is just one student dropping out of school.

Very quickly, books, notebooks, pens, rulers, backpacks, uniforms, shoes... were given to the children. The joy of receiving gifts may not have dispelled all the shock after the storm and flood, but it was truly a joy.

And this joy will certainly bring with it many other joys, many other hopes on each day that schools reopen, and children turn their books and pick up pens and rulers again.

Having gone through storms and floods, witnessed devastation, and overcome loss, each child has suddenly grown up to know how fragile and precious life is, to know that they will have to learn - to live with the absence of their deskmate next to them due to the flood, to know that they have to learn how to protect their own family - house - school - village.

Many teachers, students from kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school, and university students have come to Tuoi Tre newspaper office in recent days.

Not only money, but also the youthful, vibrant energy of love and hope is gathered into sharing, sent and delivered to areas affected by storms and floods, so that schools that were once submerged in mud can revive, students can happily go to school again, and future paths can continue to open up.
