Wife went back to her mother's house, husband found her and set fire to both of them to death

(NLDO) - Due to family conflict, a wife in Quang Nam province returned to her mother's house to live. Her husband came, pushed her child out of the house, and set it on fire.

On the morning of January 8, Quang Nam Provincial Police are coordinating with relevant agencies to continue investigating the cause of death of a couple in the area.

According to initial information, at around 1:30 a.m. the same day, local residents discovered a house on fire in Dong Sim block (Truong Xuan ward, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province).

People ran to put out the fire and discovered that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan (born in 1986) and his wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa (born in 1987; both residing in village 4, Tien Lap commune, Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province) had died.

In addition, people also discovered that the couple's son, Nguyen Thanh Ph. (born 2019), had an injured hand and took him to the emergency room.

According to the initial investigation results, Mr. Tuan and his wife have 3 children. At the end of 2024, the couple had a conflict, Mrs. Thoa took her youngest child, Th., back to her mother's house in Dong Sim block. On the night of January 7 to the early morning of January 8, Mr. Tuan went to Mrs. Thoa's mother's house.

According to Ph., Mr. Tuan pushed Ph. out of the house, closed the door, poured gasoline and set fire, causing both husband and wife to die.
