On the afternoon of September 25, the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City ( Quang Nam ) said that it had received a report from Nguyen Du Secondary School, where an incident occurred in which a parent entered the classroom and beat a student.

Specifically, at 1:15 p.m. on September 24, at this school, Mr. HVL, parent of student B. (class 8/11), arbitrarily entered the school and beat the student. The cause of the incident was that on the same morning, at the soccer tournament in the school's Phu Dong Sports Festival, the match between class 8/9 and 8/11 took place with the result that class 8/11 won.

Early in the afternoon, student B. of class 8/11 teased and provoked students T. and H. (class 8/9), so the two students chased and beat B., causing a swelling in his left eye.

When entering the classroom, the teacher saw that B.'s eyes were swollen, so he told her to tell her parents to take her to the hospital for a check-up. After that, B. asked permission to go to the security guard to borrow the phone to call her parents, Mr. L., to come and take her to the hospital for a check-up.

In the afternoon of the same day, the male parent took his child back to school, but because he was upset because his child was beaten, Mr. L. rushed into the classroom and "punished" two 8th/9th grade students, T. and H.

The incident happened so quickly that the security guard couldn't stop it in time. At this time, the homeroom teacher of class 8/9 also asked the parents to stay calm and report the matter to the school for resolution, but he couldn't stop the parents.

Immediately after the incident, the school board asked the students to write a report and invited the students' three parents to work today (September 25).

Here, all the students realized their mistakes and promised not to violate them. The school listened to the opinions of the 3 parents involved. Through analyzing the school's internal regulations, Mr. L. (parent of B.) admitted his mistakes and apologized to the school, apologized to the 2 parents whose children were beaten, and pledged not to repeat the offense. The 2 parents whose children were beaten by Mr. L. also promised to educate their children.

Mr. Le Cong Thong, Principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School, said that after this incident, the school requested parents to comply with school regulations and absolutely not enter the school to violate the students' bodies and health.
