On Saturday morning (September 6), after hearing parents' complaints that boarding students had stomach aches and diarrhea, the school's Board of Directors urgently verified and compiled that 74/1,763 boarding students in 14/45 classes had symptoms of stomach aches, of which 71 students were monitored at home, 3 students were taken to the hospital by their families for monitoring, with symptoms such as nausea, stomach aches, and fatigue.

On Saturday and Sunday, the school board, the catering company, and homeroom teachers called to get information, inquire about the health of the children, and visited the children at the hospital. It was noted that the children's health was stable, except for one child who had not been discharged from the hospital because he used an insurance card, so on the second day (8-9), the discharge documents were completed (the child was allowed to go home by his family).

On September 8, the students went to school as usual, 14 students were absent because their parents wanted them to stay home and rest more. Currently, their health is stable. By 9:00 a.m. on September 9, the students went to school as usual, 4 students had their families ask for more time off. All students' health is stable, no new cases have been reported.

The menu on September 5 is as follows: Lunch includes: crab noodle soup, minced meat, banana; afternoon snack is Anh Hong flan. The total number of meals is 1,763.

Also according to the report, Nguyen Van Triet Primary School and the food supplier took samples for testing at noon on September 7.

According to the report of the Party Building Committee - Linh Xuan Ward, the Party Committee directed the Ward People's Committee to coordinate with the Thu Duc Regional Medical Center to investigate poisoning and handle poisoning according to the process, synthesize the investigation results report, handle suspected food poisoning cases to the Ward People's Committee; Strengthen inter-sectoral inspection of establishments, business households, and individuals providing food related to suspected poisoning cases; Direct the Party cell committee and the school's Board of Directors to continue monitoring the health status of students; Strengthen supervision and strengthen the self-assessment and inspection system on food safety to ensure food safety at school; Quickly work with the catering company to rectify the above situation, ensuring food safety at school.

On September 12, the school received the results of food sample tests, all of which were negative for bacteria and mold strains.
