Coast Guard Region 4 improves the efficiency of logistics work

On September 25, at Phu Quoc special zone (An Giang province), the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to summarize the implementation of Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP, dated July 1, 2016 of the Government regulating logistics material standards for active soldiers, workers and defense officials.

The Party Committee and the Head of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the contents of Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP in conjunction with the emulation movement to win and the emulation movements of the Army logistics sector. Logistics support work has been organized synchronously, comprehensively and promptly, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers, ensuring that the unit completes all tasks well.

Colonel Phan Duy Cuong - Deputy Military Commander of Coast Guard Region 4 Command chaired the conference and evaluated some results of implementing Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP.

Units have strictly maintained management and use of logistics standards; proactively increased production and livestock raising, improved soldiers' meals; ensured sources of green vegetables and fresh food, especially on ships performing missions at sea.

Military medical work is focused on, 100% of soldiers receive regular health check-ups, health records are well managed, and vaccinations are fully provided; the military medical system basically meets mission requirements. Logistics facilities are invested in, repaired, and upgraded to ensure living and working conditions for soldiers.

Colonel Nguyen Van Ha - Deputy Head of Logistics and Engineering, Vietnam Coast Guard delivered a speech directing the conference.

Attending and directing the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Head of Logistics - Engineering, Vietnam Coast Guard, commended and acknowledged the achievements of the logistics sector of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command in recent times.

At the same time, it is recommended that agencies and units in the Regional Command continue to improve the effectiveness of logistics support work; strictly manage and effectively use resources; combine regular logistics support with combat-ready logistics; care for the lives and health of soldiers, contributing to building a comprehensively strong and exemplary Coast Guard Region 4, successfully completing all assigned tasks.
