Secretary of the Party Committee of An Luc Long Commune Nguyen Thi Ut Thuy gives gifts to people

Following the direction of the Party Committee, the Commune People's Committee established 23 working groups (each group has 2-5 members) to coordinate with 23 hamlets, directly going to each household to give gifts. The hamlets assigned 3-5 more members to coordinate, ensuring that the gifts reached the people quickly, to the right recipients, minimizing the need for people to travel and wait.

Secretary of the An Luc Long Commune Party Committee Nguyen Thi Ut Thuy said: “Going to people’s homes to give gifts not only has the meaning of practical support, but is also an opportunity for officials to get close to and listen to the people’s thoughts. We consider this a responsibility and at the same time a happiness to directly bring the affection of the Party and State to each person.”

People were excited when officials came to their homes to give gifts.

This way of doing of An Luc Long commune was recognized and highly appreciated by the people. Many households expressed their excitement and clearly felt the care and closeness of the Party, State and local authorities.

Mr. Tran Van Huong, resident of Lo Da hamlet, shared: “In the past, every time we received support, we had to travel far and wait for a long time. Now, when the officials come to our homes to deliver gifts, the people are very happy. Seeing the officials' hard work, we also called our neighbors to come and receive it together, to make it more convenient for everyone, and at the same time, help the officials reduce their travel.”

Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Hoa, resident of Dong Tre hamlet, said: “The officials came to each household to give gifts, showing the close attention of the government. People feel warm, more confident and want to join hands with the locality to build their homeland to be more prosperous.”

Although the gifts are not of great material value, they contain profound spiritual meaning, expressing gratitude to the people. This way of doing things also creates an atmosphere of solidarity and attachment between the Party Committee, the government and the people to make the National Day on September 2 more complete and meaningful./.
