Attending the Congress were comrade Nguyen Van Thien - Former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee (old) and 180 delegates representing 1,169 party members in the entire Party Committee of the commune.
Phu My Bac Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the Party Committees of 3 communes: My Loc, My Chau and My Duc. During the past term, the Party Committees, authorities and people of the communes have united, overcome difficulties, focused on comprehensive leadership and direction in all fields.
Thanks to that, the local economy continues to grow and develop; infrastructure is gradually invested in with focus and key points, and the rural appearance has improved a lot.
The fields of education-training, culture-sports, information-communication... have made much progress. The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved. National defense and security have been consolidated; social order and safety have been maintained stably. The work of building the Party and the political system has achieved many positive results.
At the Congress, delegates focused on discussing and proposing 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs as a premise for building Phu My Bac commune to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new term.
In particular, strive to have over 90% of subordinate party organizations and party members classified as having completed their tasks well or better every year; the rate of admitting new party members is 3% or more compared to the total number of party members.
At the same time, strive to increase the total product value by 9.1-10.2%/year; reduce the multidimensional poverty rate to 0.36%; average income per capita to 66 million VND/year and the commune to meet advanced new rural standards.
Speaking at the Congress, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh requested the Commune Party Committee to quickly stabilize the organization, build solidarity and unity within the entire Party Committee; build a clean and strong Party and political system, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and the contingent of cadres and Party members.
Along with that, build a "creative and serving" government system, with people and businesses at the center. Build a team of officials, especially leaders with enough qualities and capacity, who dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the common good.
The new Party Committee urgently concretizes the Congress Resolution into plans and action programs with the motto "6 clear" and the spirit of "speed", "no retreat, only action", "think deeply, do big"; strive to build Phu My Bac commune to meet advanced new rural standards.
In addition, focus on developing industry in a modern direction; smart agriculture , green agriculture; exploiting the tourism potential of Tra O lagoon, marine eco-tourism... Implementing the general planning of Phu My Bac commune, adjusting the detailed planning to suit the expanded development space.
Continue to invest in and synchronously complete socio-economic infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, service-tourism infrastructure, culture-society, and information technology.
Comrade Nguyen Tuan Thanh also requested the Commune Party Committee to focus on socio-cultural development, improving the quality of people's lives. Strengthening national defense and security, maintaining political stability, order and social safety.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Phu My Bac Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 25 comrades; Comrade Luong Dinh Tien was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
