Building synchronous and modern infrastructure

To implement Resolution No. 04-NQ/HU, dated December 31, 2020 of the District Party Committee on synchronous construction of infrastructure in Phu Ninh district in the period of 2021-2025, the Party Committee and the District Government have focused on determining the order of priority for mobilizing and effectively using investment capital from the State budget, encouraging and creating favorable conditions for organizations and individuals in investing in important projects, creating a premise for the development of industries and fields; speeding up construction progress, completing projects on schedule. The total social investment capital is estimated at 14,022.1 billion VND, reaching 164.9% of the Resolution's target.

The appearance of the central urban area of ​​Phu Ninh district is increasingly improving.

Comrade Le Phuc Tuat - Head of the District Economic and Infrastructure Division said: Located in the dynamic economic zone of the province, the district has received attention and support from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches, attracting investment capital sources, integrating programs, projects, rural road hardening programs, effectively applying and using capital sources, and socializing investment capital. At the same time, exploiting, promoting well, flexibly taking advantage of the potentials and advantages in the district to invest in infrastructure development, contributing to speeding up the progress of new rural construction in the area.

Identifying the "key" to opening up opportunities to attract investment in the district is the development of traffic infrastructure, the district has mobilized investment resources to implement important projects, typically: Completing 3.7km of Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway; renovating and repairing 2.56km of TL.323D route; implementing the project to renovate, reinforce and upgrade Au Co road, length 23.14km; traffic road connecting from Provincial Road 323 to National Highway 2, length 6.3km; the rate of hardened traffic roads reaching 81.54%... After being invested in, upgraded, expanded and completed, traffic works will create a breakthrough in traffic infrastructure, promoting comprehensive changes in all aspects of economy and society.

In 2024, there will be 4 new projects attracted to the district with a total investment of 507.3 billion VND, 4 adjusted projects with a total adjusted capital increase of 153.6 billion VND. Up to now, Dong Lang Industrial Cluster (CCN) has 25 projects in operation, with an occupancy rate of 100%; Tu Da - An Dao IC has 26 projects in operation, with an occupancy rate of 93.6%; Phu Gia IC has 4 completed and operational projects, 1 project under construction, with an occupancy rate of 28.3%; creating regular jobs for nearly 9,000 workers in the area. FDI enterprises operating in industrial production in the ICs focus on expanding their scale, seeking orders, and gradually stabilizing their foreign consumption markets, with an estimated total export value of 322.6 million USD.

Along with that, investment projects to upgrade infrastructure in the fields of: Electricity network, irrigation - water supply and drainage, health, education, culture, trade, services, tourism... are focused on implementation. The planning and implementation of urban system planning in the area are accelerated, contributing to making the urban appearance more spacious and modern. At the same time, infrastructure serving production is invested in and built to promote the potential and strengths in agricultural, forestry and fishery development. In particular, planning of high-tech agricultural production areas, an area of ​​over 60 hectares in An Dao and Binh Phu communes; Gia Thanh persimmon fruit growing areas; organizing and implementing the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program well, developing craft villages.

The information infrastructure is developing rapidly, the district has renovated and upgraded the radio broadcasting system (FM radio) of communes, and digital infrastructure to serve people's lives. Cultural houses in residential areas have been renovated, upgraded, and completed; the cultural values ​​of historical relics have continued to be preserved, restored, and promoted. The medical network from the district to the grassroots level has been invested in the direction of standardization. The education sector continues to receive attention such as: Investing in the construction of classrooms and administration buildings of kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, etc., while renovating and upgrading campuses and facilities, and maintaining schools that meet national standards according to plan. In the period of 2021-2025, 187 new classrooms will be invested in according to the standards of the education sector.

Up to now, the district has completed the Phu Ninh District Regional Planning to 2035, with a vision to 2050; adjusted the overall Master Plan for the construction of Phong Chau town and surrounding areas, Phu Ninh district to 2035, scale 1/5000; Master Plan for the construction of communes in the period 2021-2030; coordinated with the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to establish the 1/2000 scale Construction Zoning Plan for Phu Ninh Industrial Park; linked the planning with the overall socio-economic development of Phu Ninh district. At the same time, the district continues to improve the investment and business environment to attract resources for development investment, resolutely direct the effective implementation of the breakthrough in synchronous construction of key infrastructure for socio-economic development, ensuring political security, social order and safety in the area, worthy of being the economic driving force of the province.
