According to Sparrowsnews , the recent Geekbench benchmarks for the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro duo show their superior performance, which comes from the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chip. What sets the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 apart is the impressive CPU frequency. Initially tested at 3.19 GHz for internal use, Qualcomm later decided to up the ante by bumping the CPU frequency to a remarkable 3.3 GHz.

The move was immediately met with praise, especially as some dubbed it the “Snapdragon 8 Gen3 for everyone.” This was in response to what happened last year, when Qualcomm exclusively supplied the high-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip to Samsung under the name “Snapdragon 8 Gen2 for Galaxy.”

With this upgraded CPU frequency, the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 has proven its strength in the Geekbench 6 performance test. It not only outperforms its predecessor but can also compete with Apple's A17 Pro chip - a commendable achievement.

Let’s dive into the specifics of the performance of the Xiaomi 14 (model 23127PNOCC) and Xiaomi 14 Pro (model 23116PN5BC). Both of these devices come with 16GB of RAM to ensure a seamless and smooth user experience. They also run on the latest Android 14 platform.

The benchmark results are really impressive as the Xiaomi 14 series achieved an average single-core score of 2,200 points. Meanwhile, the average multi-core score was 7,400 points, which speaks to its multitasking capabilities. These scores further highlight the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.

With remarkable numbers and top performance, Xiaomi 14 series promises to become one of the notable names in the smartphone market, especially attractive for those who are passionate about high-performance products.
