On September 23, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper published an article "Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City: Rectifying the practice of letting dogs and cats roam freely in public places", reflecting the situation of households raising animals (dogs and cats) roaming freely on the streets and in public places.
The information from Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper was then shared on many Facebook fanpages and received many interactions, expressing support for this.

In addition, many accounts in other wards in the Ba Ria - Vung Tau area also expressed outrage at letting dogs and cats roam free in public places and asked the authorities to quickly intervene.
Regarding this issue, Mr. Nghiem Viet Hung, Head of the Economic - Infrastructure Department of Vung Tau Ward, the unit assigned to preside over the handling of the situation of stray dogs and cats, said that the department is urgently planning to implement the plan according to the direction of the ward. The unit will strictly handle violations to create a cool, clean space for people and tourists to come and play in public areas of Vung Tau.
