Top 10 'Asia' hotels and resorts in Vietnam

The World Travel Awards (WTA) has honored dozens of Vietnamese hotels and resorts in many "Asia's leading" categories.

Capella Hanoi Hotel was honored by WTA in the category of Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel 2024. Located on Le Phung Hieu Street, near the Opera House, this is a project that honors the art of opera, recreating the classic hotel space in the golden age of chamber symphony.

The hotel was designed by world-class architect Bill Bensley, who designed Capella Ubub in Bali and a chain of resorts in Da Nang , Sa Pa, and Phu Quoc. Room rates start from over 11 million VND.

The World Travel Awards (WTA), established in 1993, is a prestigious award recognized worldwide and is considered the "Oscar of the tourism industry". The award is held annually to honor achievements in the industry.

Premier Village Ha Long Bay Resort (Oakwood Ha Long), Quang Ninh province, won the award for Asia's Leading Family Villa. The resort has 86 open-plan villas, allowing guests to enjoy the sea breeze and air even indoors.

The villa has a large living room, an indoor kitchen and an outdoor dining table suitable for large multi-generational families. Room rates start from 2 million VND.

The WTA awards are given at three levels from high to low: world (usually announced at the end of the year), regional and individual countries. Voting is done online, with participants including tourists, experts, and CEOs in the tourism and travel industry. In which, one vote from experts is counted as two regular votes.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort was named Asia's Leading Green Resort and Luxury Resort. The resort's La Maison 1888 restaurant was the first in Da Nang to be awarded one star by Michelin in June. Room rates start at over VND15 million.

Representing Da Nang, Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills won Asia's Leading Themed Resort.

Located in the French Village, the resort has a view of Da Nang city from a height of nearly 1,500 m with nearly 500 rooms distributed in 7 buildings, named after the famous city of France. Many tourists commented that this accommodation is "like a miniature France on top of Ba Na". Room prices start from more than 2.7 million VND.

Banyan Tree Lang Co, which boasts 86 private beach villas, all with private pools, nestled between the Truong Son mountain range and overlooking the East Sea, won Asia’s Leading Luxury Beach Resort for the fourth consecutive year.

Located about 60 minutes drive from Da Nang and Phu Bai (Hue) airports, the secluded resort in Lang Co is the destination for a luxurious holiday. Travelers often choose to explore Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An and stop here to admire the pristine beauty of Lang Co Bay. Room rates from 11 million VND.

Located in Ninh Van Bay, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay was honored in two categories: Asia's Leading Romantic Resort and Asia's Leading Honeymoon Resort.

Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa, Hon Tre Island is the next representative of Khanh Hoa province to be named by WTA 2024. This accommodation facility won the award for Asia's Leading New Resort.

JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa, built on the campus of a university dating back to 1889, was honored in two categories: Asia's Leading Spa Resort and Luxury Wedding Resort.

This facility located on Khem beach, Phu Quoc with more than 230 rooms is also a masterpiece of wizard Bill Bensley. Room rates from 7.6 million VND.

InterContinental Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is Asia's leading conference hotel.
